EXHIBITION FLAIR ROUND: (450 points total):

Each bartender in all divisions will have FOUR (4) minutes to make TWO drinks. DRINK #1 will be made using Working Flair while DRINK #2 will showcase Exhibition Flair.

DRINK #1 (Working Flair Drink):

Three Olives Kamikaze
1.25 oz Three Olives Vodka
.75 oz Competitor Choice bottle
Splash Finest Call Lime Juice

Shaken with ice
Strained into a 4.5 oz. cocktail glass

  • This drink will made using Working Flair.

  • Drink #1 will contain 2 liquors. One bottle used in the making of DRINK #1 must be set to at least 1/2 full. The the other bottle used in the making of DRINK #1 must be set to at least 1/4 full.  It is up to the competitor which bottle they would like to fill to each level.

  • Competitors may only use 1 of each bottle in the making of this drink.

  • Competitors may use a back-up of each bottle needed and place them on the back bar. These may only be used in the event of a drop or break of the original bottle.

  • At no time during the making of this drink may the bartender use two of the same bottle.

  • Accuracy judges will be watching to make sure the proper amounts of each ingredient are used in the making of DRINK #1.

  • If competitors wish to use a size of bottle not listed in the PRODUCT LIST, then they must provide their own bottles.

  • Competitors may only use unaltered SPILL-STOP #285-50 pour spouts in the making of the working flair drink (DRINK #1).

  • Competitors may spend as much time on each drink as they desire, and may make the drinks in any order they wish or may make both drinks simultaneously. There are different ingredients in each drink, so the judges will be able to follow whether the competitor is performing Working or Exhibition Flair. Your round will be scored as a total package, not per drink.

***Note: Remember, if the majority of your time is spent on only one of your drinks, this may adversely affect your score.

DRINK #2 (Exhibition Flair Drink):
Finest Call Sponsor Special
Three Olives Flavor
Competitor Choice Bottle #1
Competitor Choice Bottle #2
Finest Call Sour Mix
Finest Call Grenadine

14 oz. glass
Tall Straw
OPTIONAL Garnish Of Choice (Lemon, Lime, Cherry)

***For the COMPETITOR'S CHOICE, competitors may use any bottle they choose as long as it is not a competing brand to any sponsor, the bottles are clear or SLIGHTLY tinted glass. Slightly tinted means that the bottle is easily seen through. ALL branding must be removed from the bottle. Branding consists of any paint and/or labels that are on the bottle. Some bottles may contain logos that are molded into the glass. These logos are fine as long as they are clear and are not noticeable from a distance.

Competitors MUST replace all labels on these bottles with provided FBA Pro Tour, FBA, and/or High Spirits stickers. Each Competitor Choice bottle MUST have at least one of the provided stickers. Each competitor will be given stickers for each of their bottles. The Pro Tour stickers are white with a Red & Blue logo and are 3 inches x 3 inches. The FBA stickers are either white with a black logo or white with a red and blue logo, and they are 3 inches x 3 inches. The HSE stickers are white with the yellow and purple HSE logo and are round with a 3 inch diameter. The stickers must be centered on one side of the body of the bottle. If the competitor chooses to use a second sticker, they must be on the opposite side of the body of the bottle from the first sticker. No other stickers are allowed.

Competitors will also be allowed to put up to three (3) strips of tape (each may not be more than 1 inch in width for a total of 3 inches) of tape on the bottle. The tape may be anywhere on the bottles that the competitor wishes. If the competitor chooses, they may use one of these strips to secure the pourspout in the top of the bottle. These are not in addition to the strip securing the spout in place. Bottles may not be altered in any other way. (no paint, no extra tape, no other substances)

  • DRINK #2 will be made using EXHIBITION FLAIR.

  • All bottles will be set with AT LEAST 3/4 ounces of liquor. (NOTE: this is different in the Finals, make sure you have 3/4 oz for Qualifying)

  • Competitors will set their own bottles, but bottles will be checked by the accuracy judges just prior to the bartender's round beginning.

  • There are no amounts listed for the ingredients of DRINK #2. As long as the ingredients get in the drink and the drink is not considered UNSERVABLE (see below) it will be acceptable. GET THE INGREDIENTS IN THE DRINK!

  • If competitors wish to use a size of bottle not listed in the PRODUCT LIST, then they must provide their own bottles.

  • For Drink 2 competitors will be allowed to use as many bottles of each liquor they wish, as long as each bottle is set to 3/4 ounces. We will provide up to 3 of each bottle needed. If the competitor needs more than 3 bottles, they must provide their own.

  • Competitors may only use any RUBBER or PLASTIC pour spouts they choose in the making of this drink. They may not use metal spouts, such as the Spill-Stop 285-50 for this drink, as they will be used in the making of the working flair drink and this is how the the judges will distinguish between the bottles used in each drink.

  • Competitors may spend as much time on each drink as they desire, but will be scored on the round as a whole.

The Flairco Portable Bar will be used for the Legends of Bartending exhibition flair round.

Competitors may set up bars in any way they like, as long as the bottles remain in the well, or the lower bar. Bottles may not start on top of the bar. Tins and glassware may go anywhere, as long as they remain face down. The fruit tray and straw caddy may go on the top or lower bar, BUT it is recommended to keep them on the lower bar as it will improve the judges line of site. Setting up the bar is the competitors responsibility. Make sure that you have everything that you need.
